> 95 Gold medallist!
Fantastic: you have mastered the essays
86 - 95 A certain pass
Excellent: make sure you don’t make silly mistakes
80 - 85 A probable pass
Great effort: concentrate on your weak areas
74 - 79 A possible pass
Well done: focus on where you dropped marks
64 - 74 A borderline fail
Unlucky: look at your structures and plan more
56 - 63 A probable fail
Sorry: you are making several serious errors
45 - 55 A certain fail
Oops: you need to critically rethink your approach
You must remember that these results do not necessarily reflect your true ability and how you will perform on the day. You did this mock exam at the end of a very long weekend where you were given a considerable amount of information and new advice. You can only improve!
If you have done well and better still, if you have passed, that is excellent. Stay focused and do not become over confident. Keep doing the simple things well.
If you have not passed, or if you have a low score, stay positive and focus on your weak areas especially those where you are dropping marks. This exam is more about technique than knowledge so look at your feedback and critically assess where you are dropping points. Address these areas and your mark will dramatically increase. |
