| At laparoscopy, the ureter is most likely to be damaged lateral to the uterine artery? T?F |

| I think it's true. I've seen the answer in the StratOG but I haven't got access now to confirm it as I'm in the hospital, working hard. I think ureteric injury in laparoscopy happens most commonly during LAVH when uterine artery is ligated laparoscopically and the damage is at the level of the uterine artery. |

I think it is false.
the site of ureteric injury are:
1-at pelvic brim when it enter the pelvis====during devision of infundibulopelvic lig.
2-Ovarian fossa===during oopherectomy
3-below uterine artery===during uterine art . ligation
4-1-2 cm lateral to vaginal fornix ===during cutting cardinal ligament |

| it's from onexamination and they say false. I find it hard to imagine that the most common place during laparoscopy is right under the uterines - what are you doing down there??!!! |
