I am very pleased to announce we will be advertising not one but two research fellow posts in Nottingham in the next few weeks.
The successful candidates will be based on the IVF unit and be expected to provide 3 clinical sessions. The remaining 7 + sessions are purely dedicated to research and the topic is open to discussion.
I will supervise the research and so it is probably going to be ultrasound based and focused on gynaecology.
Great opportunity as you will learn TVS and leave with several publications and a degree (MD or PhD).
The first fellow is doing really well and would be happy to speak to anyone interested. _________________ "Teale Fenning Medical Education" delivering evidence-based, exam-orientated learning since 1997 |

Forgot to add the job spec!!
We have reduced the requirements to Part 1 only. The current fellow had to have MRCOG but we want a bigger and better group to pick from and I for one do not feel you need to be senior to do well.
USS experience is welcomed but not essential.
No prior experience of IVF is required. An interest in Reproductive Medicine is a god thing but whilst this job involves IVF the successful candidate(s) could use the experience to develop a career in several areas of gynaecology such as endoscopic surgery or early pregnancy - two areas I am keen to explore with USS.
What we really want is hard workers and someone who can write well so any prior evidence of this through publication is good. _________________ "Teale Fenning Medical Education" delivering evidence-based, exam-orientated learning since 1997 |
