Sub-total hysterectom, is associated with a risk of about 10% of symptoms from the residual cervix occurring postoperatively. ---- T/F _________________ Dr Miss. Raj Walavalkar MBBS MRCOG

I'd say at least 10%.
Cervical pathology and abnormal cytology.
Bleeding - IMB, PCB, PMB
The need for opposed HRT also adds to the bleeding issue.
If I had to chose I'd say true although woud not be surprised if the figure was even higher. _________________ "Teale Fenning Medical Education" delivering evidence-based, exam-orientated learning since 1997 |

| Is the question about any symptomatology? or what's the risk of a woman coming back asking for her cervix removed? |

I guess that would add to it but I do not think many request this. Maybe just the 10% who get problems _________________ "Teale Fenning Medical Education" delivering evidence-based, exam-orientated learning since 1997 |
