Intermediate and Advanced Hysteroscopy 13 – 14 September 2007
This meeting covers a range of theoretical and practical demonstrations of both intermediate and advanced hysteroscopic surgery.
Topics include current and future developments in diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy, new energy forms, imaging and innovative ambulatory surgery.

There will be ample time for discussion, debate and networking throughout the course of the meeting.
The meeting is open to all those wanting to be updated in existing and evolving areas of hysteroscopic surgery and existing consultants as well as Year 4-5 specialist registrars wishing to undertake the ‘Advanced Hysteroscopic Surgery’ Special Skills Module.
This meeting comprises the theoretical component of the ‘Advanced Hysteroscopic Surgery’ Special Skills Module and covers all the topics necessary to complete the Special Skills Module. The course is valid for 2 years, and must be completed prior to completion of the practical component of the SSM.
CPD participants undertaking the Advanced Hysteroscopy Special Skills Module may claim up to 40 credits in category P/7 for the full Hysteroscopy Special Skills Module (including this theoretical course and the practical component).
WHY ATTEND?
Hear presentations on current and future developments in diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy imaging and innovative ambulatory surgery
Watch practical demonstrations on intermediate and advanced surgery
Theoretical component of the ‘Advanced Hysteroscopic Surgery’ Special Skills Module
Claim a maximum of 12 CPD credits in category E/1 for full attendance at this theoretical course
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Consultants wishing to enhance their skills in hysteroscopy
Those who have registered for the ‘Advanced Hysteroscopic Surgery’ Special Skills Module
Those who plan to register for the Advanced Training Skills Module "Advanced Hysteroscopy" from August 2007 onwards

if you haven't been able to go for the sept 07 one , the next Intermediate/Advanced Hysteroscopy 2008 - Special Skills Module - Joint RCOG/BSGE Meeting is on 11-12th Sept 2008.
