Dear All Delegates,

Beatriz in the office has been flooded with requests, and the courses are filling up very quickly. Please book early to avoid disappointment. Our greater than 90% pass rate is obtained by having limited numbers of places so that teaching of the very highest standard can be delivered.

To answer which is the most appropriate course to attend, this is Nick's and my advice:

Everybody should do a circuits course. We are running two (maybe three) but they are the same so you only need to book one.

We also recomend that you do OSCE Gold and / or Secrets which are our theoretical courses and are very much like our renowned Essay Writing Technique Course. They concentrate on the key components of the exam and take into consideration the part questions so we can specifically look at how you are scored. This, like any exam, is the key to passing.

Gold and Secrets were specifically designed following candidate feedback. Gold is more suited to candidates who work, or who trained outside the UK, where as Secrets is more tailored to those currently working in the UK. There is a huge overlap however and either group would benefit from either Course.

Gold includes real RCOG actresses and is more of a demonstration of good and bad stations concentrating on the role play part fo the exam.

Secrets makes sure you can do a solid history under any circumstances and also explores the other aspects of the OSCE (i.e. the remaining 40-60%!!) such as risk management, surgical skills, etc.

Ideally you should do all three but we understand this is not an option for most people Smile

We look forward to seeing you there and helping you maximise your chances of passing.
