Thanks to Appukutty Sasikala (aka Sasiselvam) for finding this site.
It has several good links for patients that explain the disease and treatments in layterms (i.e. non-medical jargon) - just what you need for the role play part of the OSCE.
Best Treatments
It is not all encompassing but at least there are a few key conditions and it gives you an idea of what to say and how to say it. _________________ "Teale Fenning Medical Education" delivering evidence-based, exam-orientated learning since 1997 |

Here is another good site but for describing various medical conditions.
BBC Health
You can search by a variety of methods including a simple A to Z option or, my recommendation, by subject including sexual transmitted disease, pregnancy & childbirth, cancer, urinary problems and so on. _________________ "Teale Fenning Medical Education" delivering evidence-based, exam-orientated learning since 1997 |
