when we counsel regarding induction of labour, can we say that it does not increase caesaean section rate but it increases instrumental delivery rate. is this right?

Yes due to loss of Ferguson's reflex. Increase in instrumental and rotational deliveries.

No effect on 1st stage or caesarean rate
