Forceps are safe to use when scalp is visible at the vulva

Where CPD is suspected assissted vaginal delivery should take place in the theatre.

1- True=outlet instrumenatl vaginal delivery
2- True for mild CPD, for major CPD , instrumental delivery is C\contraindicated.

Agree with that ...Thanks...because even if scalp visible , may be it is caput and not the BPD...soanswer is false
and the second CPD..sure CI to Operative vaginal delivery...

Am not sure for the second one, as when u suspect CPD, the trial of operative delivery is in theatre but is not contraindicated.

I thought that in cephalo-pelvic disproportion the sunroof is the only way out!
