Come on guys - we are dying to hear how it went!
I have had some personal e-mails but please post your experiences here so we can discuss the exam and prepare for May 2008!! _________________ "Teale Fenning Medical Education" delivering evidence-based, exam-orientated learning since 1997 |

Dear All, Now I am a member of the college,
Yes, I passed!
The stations went very smooth and the examiners were very fine, just as Julian told us , they were on OUR side.
The Vivas were a bit tricky , but all regular and no bouncers. The role playes were OK , but those on Domestic violence and sexual dysfunction were a bit vague.
Yet , I think I scored very high in the labour ward board and the investigations results, these were good opportunity to shine and show my clinical experience.I think it made up for the bad vivas and tricky role players.
A special thanks to Gheeta, you were very helpful on the OSCE circuit course , I just prepaed aperforma for obstetric history from your session and it wet like smashing!!!
Nick ... Of course you gave us a lot of confidence.
Julian.. Ikept remembering the oaths were made when answering the vivas, kept to the performa and stayed structured and systemmic.
As a whole...
The OSCE was a delighful experience ( of course now that I have passed!!!).
It was my first attempt and I had only your circuits course and the Birmingham course, I just arrived in Uk 10 days before the exam and IT WORKED!!.
Keep on with the good work .
Thank Fokes,
Dr EL Hadidy Ahmed, MBBCH, MSc, MRCOG |

That is excellent news - we are all so pleased for you. It is very reassuring considering how little UK experience you had and I hope that part of our Course(s) truly helped in this. Ultimately it comes down to you so well done.
Can you remember the details of any of the questions? It would be good if you can post a few so we can discuss / debate how to approach them. _________________ "Teale Fenning Medical Education" delivering evidence-based, exam-orientated learning since 1997 |
