hi guys,
read this article in fertility sterility.
ref -- Fertil Steril 2007;88:74-81.
Precis --
Women who become pregnant have a significantly thicker endometrial lining on day 6 of stimulation and on the day of hCG administration, and a greater change between baseline and day 6, than women who do not become pregnant.
significantly lower implantation rates were seen with
-- day 6 endometrial thickness is below 6 mm
-- endometrial thicknesses below 7 mm on the day of hCG administration --- changes in ET from baseline to day 6 of less than 3 mm
There was no significant difference in baseline endometrial thickness between those who became pregnant and those who did not become pregnant, hence initial thickness of the endometrium may not be as important as endometrial responsiveness.
