So, we are looking at a pass mark of 80 which equates to 50%. That is pretty much what is expected of you on the big day.
As the average mark was 78 almost 50% of you passed which is great as it was at the end of a long weekend and you now will be better prepared and have time to iron out those weaknesses. Please look at the feedback carefully and critically as this is the key to improving your mark.
Our Gold Medallist got 112 - well done / that is an absolutely excellent score.
Just like the College are planning we have awarded runers up medals so well done to the Silver Medallists who scored 95 (there were three of you) and to the Bronze Medallist who scored 92.
If we take the Gold Medallist out you can see the top score was 95 and the average falls to 72 which is readily achievable for all of you. |

Nick and Julian,
I recieved my feedback this morning. Can I congratulate you on the fantastic job you do. I certainly did not expect such an in depth and detailed feedback and useful comments. I got more than my money's worth from your course. I am sure most of the others feel the same.
I now know which areas I need to work on more and am reassured that if I do what you have suggested, I will pass. thank you.

Thank you.
We do pride ourselves on the essay feedback and feel this is one of the most important parts of the course. It is what really seperates us from many other courses as we mark all the essays oursleves and try to make detailed specific comments to allow you to improve. It is easy to just tick against a marking scheme but you could do that yourself and it does not need any 'experience'.
Key thing is that you feel you can improve enough to pass.
Did you get a silver or bronze? Pretty sure it was a young lady who ran away with our Gold. |

Got the bronze (wasn't in my pack though ). had made some silly mistakes like putting things in the wrong place etc and also there was some knowledge gaps here and there. Time was my main problem. I really couldn't put the plan on paper for the last 2 of each section. I need to practice as I know how important it is to write the plan. |

Jullien must have kept it for his collection
Well done.
You have plenty of time so read the essays again and again and rethink things over using the Course Book and the info gained at the weekend.
