Regarding CVS transabdominal route has higher rate of miscarriage than transcervical route. CVS is contraindicated in women with hepatitis C. CVS may diagnose a chromosome abnormality not expressed in the fetus. CVS increases the risk of limb reduction deformities. I think these are both TRUE due to placental mosaicism.
