Hi
Are we allowed to use abbreviations (commonly used) in the SAQs?
(Eg - &, CEMACH, NICE, with)

I think so. These are readily recognisable and this is usually OK.
Why not say Confidential Enquiries though?
NICE is OK but not sure why you want to mention them anyway!
Just try to avoid filling a page with ..
"FBC, USS, LFTs, BP, PPROM, IUGR, AFE etc"
It does not take too long to write properly but well recognised abbreviations are fine.
